Role Responsibilities
- Participation in Market Access project implementations.
- Under the supervision of the direct manager plans, implements and coordinates local HEOR projects relating to health economics, epidemiology and quality of care in close alignment with the local market access, medical and marketing functions.
- Collaborates effectively with outside researchers and local business units in managing HEOR projects.
- Identifies data needs and outlines appropriate research methods for local adaptation of the global strategy.
- Under the supervision of the direct manager controls of pricing and reimbursement dossiers before submission to state authority (SUKL) including HTA part across the whole BMS portfolio.
- Under the supervision of the direct manager interacts with internal and external partners and customers, serving as a credible expert on the value proposition of development and in-line compounds.
- Follows all healthcare system reforms and regulations regarding pricing and reimbursement.
- Coordinating of contract management with payers (approvals, signing, archiving).
- Evaluation of reports from risk-sharing projects and communication with payers.
- Pricing: creation of pricing requests in APEX system, transfer prices in ATPS system and setting of prices in SAP.
- Preparation of Price List, managing of PHARMDATA database.
- Cooperation and communication with customers (pharmacies, hospitals, wholesalers), including annual controlling process of legal requirements for distribution of drugs and hospital tenders.
- Creation of new customers in SAP.
- Cooperation with direct manager monitoring MA budget and controlling the process of making payments on invoices, being in close contact with Finance dpt.
- Preparing Purchase Orders for MA projects.
- Supporting Field Access Manager in relevant activities.
- Supporting Public Affairs Manager in relevant activities, including cooperation with Patient Advocacy Groups.
- Grants and Donations Administrator role in accordance to roles and requirements described in the procedures, including PROC.
- Preparation of presentation materials for Departmental use; support in document preparation and translation.
- MA/PA materials: assuring efficient process flow in accordance with Directives and local procedure (submitting in systems all materials prepared by MA/PA manager) for approval or tracking/archiving (Mercury, ONYX, ARIBA, SAP).
- Collaboration with other experts including Strategy and Ops, Legal & Compliance and Business control, seeking advice where appropriate.
- Proactively seeking opportunities for process simplification, seeks input and engages the support from multiple stakeholders.
- Perform all the above in an ethical and legally compliant manner. Adhere to any country specific "Code of Conduct" , convey a clear message on legal and ethical standards.
Experiences Desired
- Minimum 2 years of previous experience working on market access issues in the pharmaceutical industry (pricing, reimbursement).
- Experience in preparation of reimbursement dossiers.
- Basic experience in pricing.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate information effectively to a variety of individuals in a manner that promotes productive relationships.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and with self-motivation under tight timelines.
- Experience in analysing complex issues, utilizing strategic thinking and implementation of tactical plans.
- Excellent writing and presentation skills.
Knowledge Desired
- Understanding of health care economics, policies and practices.
- Very good understanding of local P&R agency requirements.
- Proven experience on development of P&R dossiers.
- Fluency in English.
- Excellent knowledge of computer and MS office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Bio-science background is an advantage.
