We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced professional to join our team to be part of our regional expansion in Hungary. Our expansion journey started about 2 years ago and now after some initial success we are ready to take it to the next level! Do you want to be there with us and move Shoptet forward? As a HR Specialist you will be responsible for a complex role to support our local business success. You will be responsible to create the best talent experience during this journey!
What will be your agenda?
Partnering:
- Support the development and implementation of effective HR policies and practices that will support the strategic growth of the business.
- Provide timely information & overview on HR issues for all levels of the company.
- Partner with managers on performance management and employee development goals with the support of our HR Business Partners
- Participate in the continual development of HR programs, such as recruiting, onboarding, retention, compensation, benefits, and learning & development.
Recruitment:
- Manage job ads and databases, online employment forums, social media to support our employer branding efforts.
- Support resource planning by working together with hiring managers and HR business partners
- Manage the recruitment cycle through conducting prescreens, interviews and some talent pipeline building efforts
Admin:
- Maintain physical and digital personnel records in our HRIS, finding the best solutions for the local team.
- Update the internal database (employee records, sick leaves, attendance reports, etc.).
- Assist in payroll by providing relevant employee information (e.g., leave of absence, sick days, and work schedules).
- Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies (business trips, expense reimbursement, etc.)
- Prepare all HR documentation (contracts, subcontracts, modifications, terminations, etc.).
- Coordinate with external partners - payroll outsourced company.
- Support all internal and external HR-related inquiries or requests of our employees.
Onboarding & Benefits:
- Organize and coordinate the onboarding day for newcomers.
- Coordination benefits (language courses, budgets for education, seminars, etc.).
- Ideate for best employee experience, keep up-to-date with the latest HR trends and best practices locally to be able to advise HQ team for actions
Our expectations:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- Languages: Hungarian native, conversational English.
- Part-time to full-time job (min. 25 hours per week).
- To be successful in this role, you should have solid organizational skills and be familiar with HR functions.
- Hands-on experience in HR Software - HRIS and payroll topics.
- Thorough knowledge of labour laws.
- Excellent organizational skills, with an ability to prioritize important tasks.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A can-do attitude and ability to manage variable and changing agendas.
