Responsibilities:
- Responsible for managing and implementing barcoding systems and processes.
- Create and assign unique barcodes to products, inventory items, or assets.
- Ensure accurate scanning and recording of barcodes using appropriate scanning devices.
- Maintain a database or system to track and manage barcode information.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure barcode accuracy and functionality.
- Troubleshoot and resolve barcode-related issues or errors.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate barcoding systems with existing inventory or asset management systems.
- Train and educate staff on proper barcode scanning and usage procedures.
- Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in barcoding technology.
- Conduct research and recommend improvements to enhance barcode system efficiency and accuracy.
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels of barcode labels or supplies.
- Ensure compliance with barcode standards and regulations
Education & Experience :
- 10th or 12th.
- Fresher + Proven experience as a Barcoding Specialist or in a similar role.
