Access Center Coordinator [United States]


 

SUMMARY: Under the supervision of the Clinical Director supervises the daily operation of the Access Center.

EXAMPLES OF DUTIES:

1. Supervises of Access Center day to day operation.

2. Collects and maintains data of access and availability standards and reports information to managed care companies and or the state of TN as requested.

3. Answers calls to Access Center.

4. Monitors and facilitates centralized scheduling for agency providers.

5. Reviews potential clients’ insurance and makes authorization decisions if indicated.

6. Follows all guidelines outlined in the CAREY Policies and Procedures Manual including Corporate Compliance Policies.

7. Is expected to have regular and predictable attendance and the ability to work cooperatively with others.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor’s degree in psychology, counseling, social work, or related field is preferred. Experience in a mental health setting is preferred but not required.

The above qualifications express the minimum standards of education and experience for an applicant for this position. Other combinations of education and experience, if evaluated as equivalent, may qualify an applicant for consideration.
